Communications Services

Communication Services actively manage all aspects of the communications between the Service Delivery Platform and the mobile devices, and ensure that information is exchanged in a secure and resilient manner. This component is responsible for mobile user authentication, security management and the routing of messages.

 Communications Services are fully integrated with all other Service Delivery Platform functionality. All messages passing through the Service Delivery Platform are subject to a full audit trail which provides the sender notification of the message status (for example, networked, arrived, viewed).

Cognito's Communications Services provide a highly secure environment which effectively protects company data, whether on the device or whilst passing over public networks.

The extensive use of Standardised Extensible Transactions ensures consistent application behaviour and performance whilst embracing industry best practice and accommodating customer-specific data requirements - with consequent benefits for communications efficiency and network reliability.

The communication infrastructure is proactively managed by Cognito. Communications Services are network and mobile network operator (MNO) agnostic, and embrace duplicated communications channels that eliminate any single points of failure.
