We have selected Naomi House Children's Hospice as our nominated charity.

Cognito joins over 400 companies who support this charity through a wide range of fundraising activities as well as direct support. Naomi House is a children's hospice providing respite care, terminal care and bereavement support for children and their families from across southern central England and aims to support the individual needs of the child or young person and their family by the delivery of high standards of quality care. In addition, they value the need to work in partnership with both families and other professionals to include physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual support throughout the child's care pathway.

Families do not have to pay for the services and costing £2.5 million a year to provide their services with only 10% Government funding, Naomi house is dependent upon charitable and voluntary support.

"We realise that raising awareness is just as important as the donations themselves and throughout the year organise a number of fundraising events as part of our social calendar to focus our energies on helping this excellent cause"; she continued. "With the upcoming opening of jacksplace as a facility for older teenagers there will be many more opportunities for Cognito to work with the local community and contribute to the continued good work by Naomi House";
