20/11/2007 - Kane enables heating engineers to increase speed and accuracy of domestic and commercial boiler readings

with Cognito® Mobile Workforce Management solution

Kane International, a leader in the design, development and manufacture of portable test equipment for heating engineers, has integrated its newly launched Kane 455 Flue Gas Analyser with Cognito's Mobile Workforce Management solution. Thousands of heating service engineers across the country can now use Kane's Gas Analyser to automatically send measurements directly to their office using Cognito's Mobile Workforce Management solution. Eliminating manual data entry on a separate data terminal or paper form stops data collection errors and delivers time and cost savings.

While all our analysers provide reliable readings, mistakes can occur when engineers manually write or enter test results into other systems. Now, Kane 455 users just press a button to transmit test results to the Cognito Mobile Workforce Management solution which automatically populates a form sent to the office in real-time. With faster, safer data collection, engineers also improve the efficiency of their service and further cost benefits are gained through improved time management of engineers."
