John Pocock - Chairman

John has worked in the IT industry for 25 years. After time with IBM and Andersen Consulting he joined Druid Group and eleven years later as CEO he led its sale to FI Group plc in January 2000. He is now Chairman of a number of UK venture capital backed software companies, is the senior non Executive Director at Electric and General Investment Trust plc and is a director of Aberdeen Income and Growth VCT plc. John is a trustee of Emmaus Bristol, a charity helping the homeless, and a keen triathlete.

Steve Alderson - Managing Director

Steve is a pioneer in the field of mobile applications, and has been with Cognito for 15 years, serving as Managing Director since 2003. Steve began his career in pre- and post-sales, before moving on to technical development where he designed and delivered a range of hardware, software and services to the business. As Managing Director, he has been responsible for transforming Cognito from a supplier of proprietary packet-based data solutions into the mobile workforce management solutions expert of today. Steve's activities have involved raising funds, managing profitable growth and shaping the management team and culture of Cognito to fit his vision for the business.

Clare Rolfe - Finance Director

Clare joined Cognito in 2000 as Financial Controller and in 2001 was promoted to Finance Director taking responsibility for the group's financial performance and strategy. Clare provides regular reporting to the main Board and shareholders, is involved in strategic and executive decision planning for the company and is also Company Secretary, responsible for all aspects of statutory, regulatory and taxation requirements. Prior to joining Cognito, Clare was Senior Financial Controller with Gordon & Breach Publishing Group, a company with an annual turnover of US$50 million.

Jonathan Chevallier - Strategic Development Director

Jonathan joined Cognito in 2010 having worked for 20 years in the consulting and IT services industry with a strong focus on developing and implementing high-growth business development strategies. Prior to joining Cognito Jonathan was a Director of WCI Consulting, leading its Healthcare and Microsoft Solutions business for 5 years, culminating in its successful sale to Ascribe. In the 1990's Jonathan was a Director at IT Management Consultancy, Druid, and was responsible for broadening the business from that of a SAP implementer to one that provided an end-to-end service; including business consulting, implementation and support for a range of applications.

Dave Webb - Consultancy Director

Dave joined the company in 2010 as Head of Field Service Consulting having worked in the service industry for over 16 years. In November 2011 he was appointed as Consultancy Director. Prior to Cognito Dave managed various functions throughout the service supply chain and served in operational management roles, which included delivering support services on behalf of blue-chip original equipment manufacturers such as Sony, Panasonic, Epson and Fujitsu. In 2006, Dave managed a major business transformation project for the market leader of high-end industrial equipment which culminated in the successful optimisation of a 500+ field engineer service operation.

Graeme Miles - Service Director
