Senior Java Middleware Architect

Cognito is looking for a driven and proactive senior Java Middleware Architect to join a skilled and accomplished Java development team, responsible for delivery of complex, scalable, highly-available real-time solutions.  The role requires hands-on development as well as significant architecting and technical leadership of solutions.

The Java Middleware Architect must have significant experience architecting enterprise solutions with JEE and a detailed understanding of enterprise integration patterns.  Demonstrable experience of technical team leadership is required, as is proven experience of architectural design and leadership on a middleware project.

Enterprise Database Architect

We are looking for an experienced, motivated and proactive Enterprise Data Architect to join a highly-skilled development and architecture team.  This role requires the candidate to be a keen technologist, possess strong communication and mentoring skills as well as having a deep understanding of enterprise data architectural issues, backed up with credible experience across a wide variety of previous projects.

This new and exciting senior position will be responsible for the development and on-going management of Cognito's products (software and services).  The Product Manager is charged with maximising business value throughout the product lifecycle - from product inception to eventual phase-out - to ensure the business success of those products.

Identified as an 'inter-discipline' role, the Product Manager is responsible for successfully linking teams with different expertise; most notably between commercially-oriented and technically-oriented teams.

Network Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join our skilled Network Services team.  In addition to providing reactive support to alerts from the network monitoring systems, this position will also involve acting upon statistical data to proactively prevent issues before they become service affecting.

Expert fault diagnosis and management skills are needed in order to resolve issues directly through fault escalation internally, as well as to 3rd party suppliers.  This position will also be responsible for associated tasks ranging from server installation to firmware updates, ensure that documentation and technical knowledge bases are up to date.
